Nada, 4th year English
This year was my fourth and last year in Achva College for a bachelor’s degree in English. I consider myself lucky to have made it this far. I have a two-year-old baby at home, and I am currently eight months
pregnant. Two months ago, I was very ill and had to go in the hospital. I have had a lot of homework, exams and
zoom teaching during this epidemic. I feel like I have finally reached the finishing line of a very long and tiring
marathon. However, as hard as it was it, I was always full of hope and momentum.
Volunteering work
One of the few things that helped change me as a person is my volunteering. It helped grow as person and strengthen my personality. It made me love doing good
deeds without asking for return. I appreciate that I have had this opportunity happen to me.
Appreciation
This scholarship was the peak of hope waiting in the end of the long dark tunnel.
Whenever I felt burdened and on the verge of throwing it all away, your scholarship was the peak of hope. I have faced a lot of hardships this year. The Corona virus took one of my grandmother's brothers. It was a frightening view, how a person could die from
something that see so unrealistic. However, this is only a test from god, we have to be patient and cautious and follow the health district's orders. Anyways, I would like to thank you sincerely for your kind and generous funding; you helped change the course of
my life, and me as a person. Thank you very much I really appreciate it.
