Terms of grant

Grant and loan

The maximum amount per scholarship is € 3,500 a year. The terms of grant are set down in a contract and include the amount awarded as a grant– about 50% of expenses made during an academic year-, and the repayment of 25% of the grant issued as a loan.

One of the terms is about doing voluntary work. With the help of a contact students try and find an appropriate job which is usually in keeping with their studies.

The board of the Foundation expects from each student a biannual progress report. On its receipt the amount awarded is transferred.

Often personal stories are also shared with us via e-mail.

Students apply via one of the Foundation’s contacts in Israel and via the SANA Foundation. After a careful screening by them and the board of the Foundation, the student signs the contract.
